Does it seem like things have become less bright this year and shadows have snuck up on your life as the challenges of this pandemic tried to overtake the joy of life? Clouds make shadows on the ground. When clouds cover the sky and darken the sun, it is a sign that rain is about to come. That sweet rain is a blessing that makes the ground fertile. The sky will grow dark for a while as the downpour drenches the ground and prepares it for seeds to be planted and grow. God knows your needs and hears your prayers. A great harvest is coming. The harvest will bring God’s love, joy, and peace. Darkness will flee and Jesus will shine His light even brighter. There is a season of joy and rejoicing coming to the body of Christ. Many prayers have gone up to our heavenly Father. Look up and get your eyes off the present circumstances as you trust in Him. Walk toward the Light of Christ. Then your vision will become clear. God’s grace and glory reign supreme over all the earth. This Christmas we will celebrate the Light of Christ with new hope in our hearts. We can rejoice because the King of kings has come to earth and triumphed over sin and death. He is the Bright Star who reigns forever. Long ago, some shepherds in the fields stood in awe of the amazing star that illuminated the night sky. Its supernatural light led them to a humble place in Bethlehem where a newborn baby lay in a manger. In awe, they bowed and worshiped the Messiah. If you will walk toward the Light of Christ, your heart will be filled with joy. Let Christ renew your hope and give you supernatural peace. He is with us. He is in us. The Lord surrounds us with His forever love. Stay in the light and bring His light to others around you. May Jesus fill your Christmas with love, light, joy, and peace. You have a very special place in His heart.
