In times of trouble and times of need, where do we turn for help? When confusion and pain try to overwhelm us, where do we turn for comfort? “My help comes from the Lord; He watches over me constantly and protects me day and night.” (Psalm 21) God Himself always has His eye on us so we can rest safely in His arms of love. Our hope and strength is not in our efforts or another person, but our hope is in God’s mercy and love. These promises give us peace in times of trouble. If Almighty God guards our lives without fail, our enemies cannot harm us. Day and night the Lord’s eye is on us. He constantly takes care of us, and He keeps us from stumbling or falling. Rest secure in His protective shade and be filled with hope for good things. He is our peace. Let the Spirit of Peace roll waves of peace over your heart and mind as you trust in Him. Our help comes from the Lord. He is always there to guide us in times of need. Rest quietly in your soul and cast off your anxious thoughts for the Lord is with you to keep you safe from harm. There is no confusion in His Presence. See, the Lord is right beside you; therefore, no enemy will dare to come near. He never takes His eyes off of you as you come and go. The Lord is my help and my defense. Praise His holy Name!
