There is a church in Santa Ana whose mission is to help the least and the lost. They have recovery homes for men and women who are on the streets - the drug addicts, homeless, prostitutes, teens in gangs who have nowhere to go, and others. When we first met Maria and the women at the home she runs in Santa Ana through the Santa Ana Restoration Church, we knew that WFR would support their amazing work in our local communities. After visiting with Maria and the women in the home, we were inspired by the stories of many difficulties each one had faced and the progress they were making. The testimonies of the dramatic changes in the lives of these women are incredible, and it wasn't easy for them to make the changes. But the loving staff helps them in so many ways. They bring God's Word and His love into their lives on a continual basis. The results are truly wonderful, and one of the women who came in helpless and hurting is now going with Maria and her husband as missionaries in Mexico to start a new church and shelter home there.
