Jesus Christ is Born

In a manger with the animals watching, the Messiah was born of a virgin just as the prophets had foretold. His name is Immanuel meaning God is with us. Jesus’ birth caused the shepherds to rejoice greatly, and the wise men traveled from afar to give the Child gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. At the appointed time, Jesus came to save us from our sins. He gave His life and became sin who knew no sin. He took our sickness and sorrows on Himself and freed us from the curse of sin and death.
Christmas is a time to celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our hearts rejoice in our Savior as we give Him thanks and praise for all that He accomplished on our behalf. The true essence of Christmas is agape love and sacrificial giving. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever would believe in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life. John 3:16
The Holy Spirit moves on hearts, and they are open to receive the Good News. People are set free from the bondage of sin. The kingdom of God is near. This is the message of hope that scripture records in the Old and New Covenants. Christmas carols proclaim Christ’s wondrous glory. We celebrate the birth of the long-awaited Messiah with family and friends and exchange gifts. What will you give Jesus this Christmas? Worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.
Holy Spirit, pour out your love and grace on us as we celebrate the birth of Immanuel. We worship You, King Jesus, for You reign on high, and You are the Light that shines in our hearts. Jesus, You are the Lord of heaven and earth who dwells inside us!
Peace be with you and your loved ones this Christmas. We are deeply grateful for your support that allows us to share the Good News with others. Let the joy of the Lord fill your heart to overflowing. God bless you. All glory and honor to King Jesus!
