GIVING THANKS
In the busyness of life's daily demands, we often forget to be thankful for the things that God does for us. Thanksgiving is a time to slow down and reflect on God's blessings in our lives. He protects us like a shield and provides for all our needs. God's love is unfailing even when we fall short. When we are weak, He is our strength, an ever present help in our time of need. He performs miracles on our behalf. Jesus is the Prince of Peace even in troubling times. There's so much to be thankful for. We can count our blessings in creative ways. If you have young kids, invite them to join you in giving thanks. Come up with new ideas that will express a grateful heart.
- Draw a picture of one way God has blessed you
- Write a thank you letter to God
- End each day with 5 things that you are thankful for
- Keep a journal of answered prayers
GIVING TUESDAY
This Christmas we need your help to share God's love with hurting people. We want to let them know that Jesus, the Light of the World, will give them joy and peace in their hearts. Please help us share this message of hope with troubled people. Give a gift today.
WFR ministers to the homeless, people who are addicted to drugs or alcohol, abused women and their children, pregnant teens and their babies, and students who are in distress. We are so grateful for your prayers and generous financial support. Thank you and God bless you all!
